Portrait

This was a gift portrait I drew for an acquaintance, based on a photo of her granddaughter (whom I haven't met). She didn't want the standard oil painting and wanted the focus to be on her granddaughter's red hair.

Landscape

This is a landscape from my imagination (where I wish the season was summer or spring).

Stamps

I was assigned to create stamps promoting awareness about an issue. I chose animal intelligence. I tried to make it playful by depicting animals doing human things but not brainy things.

Sketches

I thought it was about time for an update! Here are some bits and pieces of work (in watercolors, gouache, oils, charcoal, digital...I can't choose what materials I like best).

Hands

Sorry for the lack of posts- I'm still creating illustrations and paintings, but I'm currently spending most of my free time working on a graphic novel. I'll be posting some of the artwork I haven't put up yet. (I wish I had a better photo of this one)
